What we do

Digital scholarship support

We help make research, art, and cultural works more accessible and useful. Among other projects and technologies, our institutional repository, HARVEST, provides a convenient way for researchers to deposit their research in an open access repository to meet the requirements of various funding agencies. Chat with us about your research; we're still developing our services so it's a good time to let us know what you need.

Collaborate and create

We work with scholars, graduate students, and the community to digitize and describe cultural and research content for long-term accessibility. Much of these materials are housed at the University Archives and Special Collections, but we continue to work with others to provide access to valuable cultural heritage content from accross the province. Ask us about the fancy software and hardware we have that will help you create digital content for a wide range of uses.

The DRC space

An innovative and flexible location with leading-edge technologies, the Digital Research Centre encourages collaborative partnerships and serves as a studio for the development of new media exhibitions.

Projects

The DRC has supported numerous digital projects in collaboration with USask researchers, University Archives and Special Collections, and other community archives or researchers
