Notes:The pattern on both sides of the coin appear to be identical. This coin, along with CANCA-EVAC-5018-05-ISL, almost certainly belongs in CANCA-B163-2-14-114, according to Samuel Shuckford's description in Lit Ms 16c. In this manuscript catalogue, Shuckford gives very vague descriptions for a series of coins that he is unable to interpret, including coins that are not either Greek or Roman. He describes the coins in slot 114 as "two gold coins." Of the extant gold coins (kept separate from the cabinets), these two coins are the most likely candidates.
