Description of institution: Location uncertain. Grew locates the cliffs in Cleaveland and associates them with Whitby Cliffs, presumably above the town of Whitby. This is probably the Huntley identified by Thoresby as the sight where a sun-fish was extracted "upon the sands." Manuscript Items linked to this location: Mentioned - A Catalogue of the Naturall and Artificial Curiositys in my slender Musaeum at Leedes Ano. 1708.
Print Sources linked to this location: Mentioned - Musæum Regalis Societatis, or, A catalogue & description of the natural and artificial rarities belonging to the Royal Society and preserved at Gresham Colledge
