On leaf 2, a list of 19 classes: Class 1 MSS Books and Class 2 Printed Books are lacking from the text; Classes 3-19 correspond with Grew's chapters. The last entry in Chapter 19 (Coins, Antiquities &c) is dated 1734, Feb.27. Simpson states 'up to date till 1737, continued in MS 419 to 1744.' Below the list of Classes on leaf 2 is a list of periods with one or two names appended to each, beginning 1660. Nov. 28/1664. June 15-Dr Massey/Dr Mortimer, and ending 1726. Oct 27/1731. July 8-Mr Theobald" (LeFanu, 110-11).
