The John Bargrave Collection
John Rastrick (1650 - 1727)
Dissenting minister at Spalding from 1688 top 1697, then Rotherham, and from 1701 until his death at Spinner Lane, King's Lynn, Norfolk. He was a guest preacher at Mill Hill Chapel in 1699, where he met Thoresby. In his diary, Thoresby notes that Rastrick stressed only "the essentials of religion, wherein all are agreed" (1.332).
