Christopher Wandesford (2 Mar 1684 - 23 Jun 1719)

Probably the Christopher Wandesford who signed Ralph Thoresby's visitor book in 1705. Thoresby added "Esq." after his name, presumably to distinguish him from his father, Baronet and 1st Viscount Castlecomer. Christopher succeeded to his father's titles on 15 September 1707. Before and after that, Christopher spent his early adulthood as a politician in Ireland. This might be why Thoresby also added "of ..." and could not supply a name. Wandesford returned home to represent Morpeth in 1710, and the Ripon, 1715-1719, as a member of the English Parliament.
