Gratian (359 - 383)

Western Roman Emperor 375-383, he nominally shared power with his younger brother Valentinian II, but in reality controlled the entire West. He fought successfully against the Goths and aggressively persecuted pagans, renouncing the title of pontifex maximus. Full name: Flavius Gratianus Augustus.
