Cornelius Johnson (14 Oct 1593 [bap.] - 5 Aug 1661)

Alias Cornelius Janssens van Ceulen
Bargrave visited Johnson (Jansen) in Utrecht and showed him his devices for creating an "artificial rainbow" (as recorded in "Rara, Antiqua, et Numismata Bargraviana," cf. Bann, 16-7). Bann says Bargrave must have visited him around 1650, but the DNB says Johnson moved to Utrecht in 1652.
