George St Clair [Sinclair] (1642 - 1686)
Merchant, Baillie and Magistrate of Edinburgh. Referred to by Sibbald as "Baillie Sinclair." Of the clan Sinclair, he was brother to John Sinclair, 23rd Lord Herdmanston (1632–1666), and uncle to Henry St Clair, 11th Lord Sinclair (1660-1723). Baptised 1 Apr 1642, buried 5 Dec 1686.
