It is taken for granted, I think almost by every body, That Van Horne and de Graaf were the first Observers of these Vessels. But that every one may have his due, it is worth the Readers notice, That ten years before de Graaf's Book concerning the same, a Description with Figures thereof, in the Testicles both of a Boar and of a Man, were first published by Vauclius Dathirius Bonglarus, sc. in the Year 1658.
