Captain Gascoigne ( - fl. c.1737)

Named a "benefactor" in the catalogues of Salter's museum.

The wife of a Rear Admiral John Gascoigne was buried in Chelsea in 1748. There was a John Gascoigne (bapt. 5 January 1695/6 in London, died 29 May 1753) who married a Mary Ann Mighells (1705-1748) who was a captain by 1727 and retired a Rear-Admiral in 1747.
