Samuel Molyneux (1689 - 1728)
Astronomer, politician, and secretary to the Prince of Wales. He worked with his father, William, on various scientific endeavors and was elected fellow of the Royal Society in 1712. He studied at Trinity College, Dublin, and was a privy councillor in both England and Ireland and served in both the English and the Irish parliaments.
