Robert Uvedale (1642 - 1722)

Botanist, clergyman, educator. He received his LLD from Cambridge in 1682 and was ordained priest in 1692. He was well connected with prominent collectors of his time. Kusukawa suggests he is the "Dr. Udal" whom Courten names a source of fossils (23, n.116).
