Description of institution: Location approximate. "My Lord's Garden," a public park designed by John Evelyn (c. 1664) for Henry Howard, "lay off the old street of Conesford Inferior (which first became St Faith's, then Mountebank Lane) in the parish of St Peter Parmentergate" on the site of a defunct Austin Friary (250). The park extended from Howard House at No 97 King Street, eastward up the river.
