Annotation:[Canterbury Catalog: Boxes complete with lids are numbered "1", "2", "4" and "6". Number 6 has a small piece of crystal inside. Each has a scrap of lint. These boxes have been linked to the note found, in Bargrave's hand, in the cabinets referring to a group of 34: "For curiosity, because sold in the shops at Rome, so that for 2s. 6d. I had these 34 (pretended) reliques [sic.] of saints' bones".] (early - mid 17th cent)
