An invention of the College of Physicians at Padua by a student from Germany, this item was bought by Bargrave from a "High Dutch Turner" in Venice. Wooden human eye with separate parts all made from ivory and horn. Very high skill involved; some parts as thin as egg shell.] (approx mid 17th cent)
