Annotation:[Canterbury Catalog: An oval of copper with a portrait of Bargrave's in oil recto. Verso text reads "A Roma: Del mano Del Servi-tore di Sign. Giovanni Battista Caninii 1650 Ano Guibileo. Giovanni Bargrave Gnt Inglese." Portrait was painted when Bargrave was in Rome guiding and tutoring the young Lord Stanhope on his Grand Tour. "To hang upon my cabinet. My own picture upon copper, in little and in seculo, drawn at Rome by a servant of my good friend Sigr. Giovanni Battista Caninij, anno. 1650, the year of the Jubely".] (1650)
