Alias John Van de Bemde (Alias)

Son of a London merchant, admitted to Gonville and Caius College in 1673. Elected FRS in 1678 and a member of the Council in 1698. He courted John Evelyn's daughter Susanna (Chambers and Galbraith, 2: 951, n. 2). Relevant locations: Lived at or near London, England
