J. W. Kirshaw (fl.1873 - )

John William Kirshaw of Warwick was past owner of the University of Saskatchewan's copy of Grew's Musaeum Regalis. He was interested in paleography and geology and was a fellow and one time director of the Geological Society. He published with P. B. Brodie . “Excursion to Warwickshire, July 10th and 11th, 1871.” Proceedings of the Geologist’s Association. 2.7 (Oct 1872): 284-287. He is listed as a subscriber to The Tyldesley Diary in 1873 and cited in Jones, T. Rupert. Fossil Estheriae, 1862.
