Thomas Minadoi (c. 1548 - 1618)

Venetian physician and intelligencer for the Venetian consuls in Aleppo. Published his Historia della guerra fra Turchi et Persiani, on the war between the Ottoman and Safavid dynasties in the late sixteenth century, in Italian in 1587, which was translated into English and published in 1595.
