John Rastrick (1650 - 1727)

Dissenting minister at Spalding from 1688 top 1697, then Rotherham, and from 1701 until his death at Spinner Lane, King's Lynn, Norfolk. He was a guest preacher at Mill Hill Chapel in 1699, where he met Thoresby. In his diary, Thoresby notes that Rastrick stressed only "the essentials of religion, wherein all are agreed" (1.332). He was also a minor collector in his own right, exchanging information with Thoresby and Hans Sloane.
