Francis Willis, Colonel (c. 1621 - 1691)

First of the Willis family to arrive in Virginia. He was active in local government, and returned to England in 1675. He bequeathed his estate (which would be known as White Hall) in Ware River Parish to his nephew, Francis Willis, son of brother Henry Willis (d. 1689).
