Maximilian [Ambiguous] ( - )

Musaeum Tradescantianum identifies a coin depicting "Maximilianus Magnanimus" with "Mary daughter and heire of Charles Duke of Burgundy." The appellation of "Magnanimus" seems to be misapplied. The Elector of Bavaria that was known as "Maximilian the Great," thus "Maximus" perhaps, but not "Maximinus." Moreover, it was the Holy Roman Emperor who was husband to Mary of Burgundy, and there are examples of medals commemorating their marriage. Relationships: Maximilian [Ambiguous] was a same person as? (uncertain) Maximilian I [Elector of Bavaria] (17 Apr 1573 -27 Sep 1651)
Maximilian [Ambiguous] was a same person as? (uncertain) Maximilian I [Holy Roman Emperor] (22 Mar 1459-12 Jan 1519)
