Robert Tempest ( - fl. 1538)

In the dissolution of the monasteries, Henry VIII granted the Priory of Syningthwaite to "Robert Tempest of Holmesett [probably "Holmside"], Durham" on 23 December 1538 (Clay, 160). Relevant locations: Lived at or near Holmside, Durham County
