Note, the Book is perfect till, pag. 191. where the History of Pope Joan was probably inserted, there being nothing defective in the whole Book but that Leaf, and the other that answers it. It belonged to the Friars Minorits at Doncaster, and was probably torn out after the Reformation, against which they were so zealous, that the Prior of Doncaster was executed, An. 1547.
