John Shaw, Rev. (1608 - 1672)

Nonconformist minister and influential preacher during the Interregnum. He was Vicar of Rotheram from 1639 until his death, with some interruption. His autobiography ("Memoirs"), written for his son, and collected by Ralph Thoresby, was edited and published in distinct editions, of 1824 and 1882.
