John Angier (1605 - 1677)

Nonconformist minister and renowned preacher known for his published sermons titled An Helpe to Better Hearts, for Better Times (1647). He was born into a family of successful clothiers who were strongly influenced by the "great Puritan preacher, John Rogers" (Axon, 1). The earlier form of the family name was "Anger."
