Viscount Loftus of Ely, Lord Chancellor of Ireland. Probably the Loftus listed by Thoressby among "the Judges and Barons" and "the Lord Chancellors, Keepers, and Deputies of Ireland," although his uncle of the same name was also Lord Chancellor (550).
