Mary Wortley Montagu, Lady (15 May 1689 - 21 Aug 1762)

Née Pierrepont, an English aristocrat, writer, and poet. Daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, later 1st duke of Kingston (1667–1726) and his wife, Lady Mary, née Feilding (1669–1692). In 1712 she married Edward Wortley Montagu (1678–1761). Known for her literary quarrel and turbulent relationship with Alexander Pope, among other things.
