According to the ODNB, Dubois bequeathed his books, herbarium, and "all his other curiosities" to his brother-in-law Ebenezer Dubois, although Emanuel Mendes da Costa reports seeing a remnant in the possession of one John Hugo, junior, at Mitcham c. 1760.
