Margaret Wotton, Lady (1581 - 1659)

Lady Wotton, wife of Edward Wotton, Tradescant's employer at Canterbury from 1615 to 1623, and daughter of Philip, third Baron Wharton: "her sole mark in history seems to have been wearing a gown to a royal wedding made from embroidered material that cost fifty pounds a yard" (Leith-Ross, 164).
