Erasmus Snelling ( - )
Leith-Ross suggests the "Mr. Snelling" named as a benefactor in Musaeum Tradescantianumis perhaps Erasmus Snelling, who built the large brick house with a belvedere at Greenwich later bought by Tradescant's friend, Mark Cottle. It had an enclosed orchard covering four acres planted with five hundred cherry and other fruit trees. The garden also had arbours, a high walk and a mount. Snelling later moved to South Lambeth" (178-9).Relevant locations: Lived at or near Lambeth, London
