John Partridge (fl. 1641 - fl. 1706)

Goldsmith active 1691-1706 at The Wheatsheaf on the upper end of Cheapside. Kusukawa suggests this might be the "Mr. Partridge" from whom Courten purchased prints in 1689 (Appendix I, 12 n.53). Advertisements for bookseller Thomas Field (1746-1794) locate the sign of the Wheatsheaf "at the corner of Paternost Row," Cheapside. Artist - goldsmith/jeweller
