John Lecaan, Dr. ( - fl. c. 1705)

Medical doctor serving the English army on the continent in the 1690's and early 1700's. He corresponded with Petiver during this time, and when on furlough in London, he often visited the Temple Coffee House Club. While abroad, he collected specimens for Petiver (Stearne, 273).
