Jane Robinson (1631 - fl. 1712)

Daughter of Mark Pickering of Ackworth, a great-granddaughter of Archbishop Tobie Matthew. She married married Matthew Robinson at Burneston church, on 12 Oct 1657. Relationships: Jane Robinson was a grand-child of Tobias Matthew (1544-1628)

A remarkable Calculus, consisting of several Coasts or Crusts, taken out of the Bladder of Dr. Robinson of Burniston: Upon his Dissection were found 35, some as large as Nutmegs or small Wall-nuts; it much resembles Bezoar. Given me by his Relict, who is Great-Grand-Daughter to the famous Archbishop Toby Matthews.

A Catalogue of the Naturall and Artificial Curiositys in my slender Musaeum at Leedes Ano. 1708 a remarkable Calculus consisting of several Coats or crusts taken out of the bladder of Dr. Robinson of Burniston, given me by his relict great-granddau'ter to ABp Job: Matthews. there were 35 in all, some as larg as Nutmegs or litle Walnuts, but 2 spoonfuls of moisture left.
