William Calverley, Sir (1445 - c. 1507)
Son and heir of Sir William Calverley (d. 1488) by Agnes Tempest (d. 1467). The family settled in Claverley in ancient times. Probably the "Sir W. Claverley" who received a letter from Sir Henry Wentworth "upon the Landing of Perkyn Warbeck 1497" (Ducatus, 550).
