Flavius Julius Crispus, Roman Caesar (c. 299-305 - 326)

Caesar of the Roman Empire. Son of Constantine I, who had him executed on suspicion of loving his mother. Known as Flavius Julius Crispus, Flavius Claudius Crispus and Flavius Valerius Crispus. The Reverend James Ivie MA, from Wiltshire, gave about thirty bronze Roman coins. All of them were found in Sorviodunum [Salisbury] and bear the names of Crispus, Constans, Constantius and Magnentius. There seems to be no damage to their original appearnce.
