Annotation:In his dedication to Joseph Hunter, Richardson describes this tract as an "annotated reprint" of a portion of Hunter's edition of Thoresby's diary and correspondence. Richardson stitches this material together in a strange manner, alternating between a third-person adaptation of Thoresby's autobiographical material and Thoresby's own voice, with added commentary and notes.
