Jacob Bobart, the Younger (2 Aug 1641 - 1719)

Superintendent of the Oxford Botanic Garden, succeeding his father in 1680. Bobart "operated a network of plant collectors scattered around the world," who supplied specimens that he exchanged with "owners of famous gardens" (Willes, 212).
