Henry Herbert, 2nd Earl of Pembroke (c1534 - 1601)

Collector of books, manuscripts, coins, medals, and gems (Selwyn and Selwyn 517). In 1586, Queen Elizabeth appointed him Lord President of Wales, a position he held until his death.
