Prussian Academy of Arts (1690s - )

Under various names, founded in the 1690s by Frederick III (King in Prussia from 1701), it was the third-oldest learned society in Europe. This is probably the institution Petiver had in mind when he referenced the Imperial Academy in connection with Christian Maximilianus Spener.
