Christian Maximilian Spener, Dr. (31 Mar 1678 - 5 May 1714)

Physician. In 1705, Spener was appointed Professor of Genealogy and Heraldry at Ritterakademie (Academy for Knights) and in 1706 Chief Herald of the Kingdom of Prussia. According to Petiver c. 1704, Spener was physician to the King of Prussia and fellow of the "Royal Brandenburg College of Sciences" and a member of the "Imperial Academy." Physician

Petiver, Gazophylacii Naturæ (1702-1706) 12. Lapis cui a Natura Curiosa figura insculpta est D. Spener, Act. Phil. No 302. p. 2083. 16. This Dr Christian Maximilian Spener, Physician to the King of Prussia, and Fellow both of the Imperial and Brandenburgh Colleges, sent me. It seems to be an Impression of an Entrochus upon a sort of Iron Stone.
