John Graves ( - fl. c. 1708)

Customs collector in Nassau from around 1688 until the time of his publication of Memorial, or, A short account of the Bahama-Islands c. 1708 (Graves, 6). Petiver describes him as "Her Majesty's of those Parts," referring to Providence, by which he evidently means New Providence Island, of which the principal city was Nassau.
