Annotation:Pointer, in Oxoniensis Academia gives a list of items in the Ashmolean Museum mixed together with items in the collection of the anatomy theatre (pp.156-161). His introduction to the list is as follows:
"A famous Repository of Natural and Artificial Rarities, and of several Roman Antiquities, as Altars, Lamps, Medals, &c. built at the Charge of the University in 1683, and furnish'd by Elias Ashmole, Esq; Dr Plot, Bishop Huntington, Dr Lister, Dr Pound, &c.
A Catalogue of some few of which Rarities (together with some in the Anatomy-School) is as follow" (156).
Gunther (Vol. 3) collates this list with that of Oxford Rawl. C 865.
